Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on 12th December 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift has been a singer/songwriter from the pop/country genre for over 20 years. Her tales about romantic love in the midst of heartbreak and young love have gained her widespread popularity throughout the 21st century. Swift began to show an interest in music as early as age and she progressed quickly from roles in children's theatre to her debut performance in front of hundreds of people. Swift was just 11 when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball game. After that Swift began to write songs, and also started playing the guitar. She drew inspiration from the musicians from the country genre like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. At the age of 13, Swift's parents decided to sell their farm in Pennsylvania in order to relocate towards Hendersonville Tennessee so she could dedicate more time to courting country labels in nearby Nashville.
